European Terms And Conditions
European Terms and Conditions for Consumers
Last updated: March 2026
These supplementary terms apply to customers located within the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. They are intended to be read alongside our general Terms of Service and provide additional protections in line with European consumer law.
1. Right of Withdrawal — Exemption for Personalised Goods
Under Directive 2011/83/EU (and equivalent national legislation), consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does not apply to goods that have been made to the consumer's specifications or are clearly personalised.
Because every LittleLooms basket is custom-made based on the name, colour, size, and motif you select at the time of purchase, your order is exempt from the statutory right of withdrawal once production has begun. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this exemption.
2. Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Under European consumer protection law, products must conform to the contract of sale. This means the item you receive should match the description provided and be of satisfactory quality.
If a product you receive is defective, damaged during transit, or does not match the personalisation details you specified, you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include repair, replacement, or — where neither is possible — a price reduction or full refund.
To exercise your rights under this guarantee, please contact us within a reasonable time of discovering the issue.
3. Delivery
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your order within the timeframe indicated on our Shipping & Returns page. If delivery has not occurred within 30 days of purchase (unless a longer period was agreed at checkout), you may contact us to arrange an additional reasonable delivery period. If delivery still does not take place, you have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
4. Dispute Resolution
If you are based in the EU, you may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform to resolve any disputes:
https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
We will always try to resolve issues directly. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@littlelooms.com and we will do our best to find a fair outcome.
5. Data Protection
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data at any time. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us directly.
6. Applicable Law
For consumers resident in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, nothing in our Terms of Service overrides the mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence. Any contractual disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in your country of residence, in addition to any other jurisdiction that may apply.
